Shredded Hardwood Bark: Red oak bark with a light
Red to dark Red Brown in color. It is resistant to wash out
as fibers bind together, allowing bark to stay in place. Also
acts as a weed retardant, great for natural areas and can
be used as for paths. Use as a top layer in natural areas
for a finished look, looks well with green grass also will
stay on a very steep slope. Breaks down appox. 1-1/2 years.
Not recommended for playgrounds or play areas. Adds acid to
soil over time. $19.50 per cubic yard
Mini Nuggets: 1/2 to1 size pine bark nuggets light
burgundy to dark burgundy in color last appox. 3-5 years before
break down. Not recommended for areas with water problems
or steep banks. $19.50 per cubic yard
Colored Hardwood Chips:
Available in gold, red, and brown, these are 1/2 to 1 inch
in size. The color lasts approx. 3-5 years. It makes beautiful
flowerbeds. $19.50 per cubic yard
SawDust: Fine sawdust you
can use to mix with soil or gardens. $9.50 per cubic yard
